119th Annual Meeting of the Association of American Medical Colleges
2008 marks the 47th year of the Research in Medical Education (RIME) Conference. The RIME Conference is a national venue for the presentation and discussion of peer-reviewed research concerning all aspects of medical education. The Conference is planned an organized by the RIME committee, a nine member, elected committee of the AAMC’s Group of Educational Affairs. Formats for presentation include abstracts research papers, review papers and symposia.
Research papers are presentations of completed research. Review Papers are invited to synthesize existing research and provide direction for future research and practice. Symposia sessions are intended to provide diverse perspectives of research approaches, questions, methods and/or applications in medical education. Abstracts report results of exploratory and pilot studies. Abstracts are presented in one of two formats: oral or poster.
